Qatar assists with proof‑of‑life confirmation: Venezuela’s acting president publicly thanked Qatar for helping the country obtain “proof of life” for President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores after they were captured during a U.S. military operation — a key diplomatic move amid intense international scrutiny and tension surrounding their capture.
