Mutaz Barshim Adds Olympic Bronze to Historic Career at Paris 2024

Qatar's high jump legend, Mutaz Barshim, has made history again at the Paris 2024 Olympics by winning the bronze medal in the Men’s High Jump. Barshim cleared 2.34 meters, securing third place behind Shelby McEwen of the USA and New Zealand's Hamish Kerr, both of whom jumped 2.36 meters. This accomplishment marks Barshim’s fourth consecutive Olympic medal, making him the first high jumper in history to achieve such a feat.

Barshim’s bronze is also Qatar’s first medal at the 2024 Olympics, solidifying his legacy as the most decorated Qatari athlete in Olympic history. The Qatari Royals have proudly congratulated him on this monumental achievement.
