Ramadan Watch Is On: When And Where To Spot The Crescent Moon In Qatar🌙
The moon hunt is officially on! Here is everything you need to know about spotting the Ramadan crescent in Qatar:
🗓️ The Magic Date: Mark your calendars for Monday, February 17 (the 29th day of the Hijri month). The official hunt begins right at sunset!
🔭 Where to Look: Face the western horizon, right near the spot where the sun disappears. If the conditions are right, that tiny silver crescent will make its appearance there.
🏔️ The Best View: For the best chance to see it, head to elevated areas away from city lights and pollution. The higher and darker your spot, the better the view.
🌙 The Final Word: While we use astronomy to track it, the Crescent Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf has the final say on the official start of Ramadan.

Qatar just celebrated another epic National Sports Day! 🏆⚽ Here is the breakdown of the 2026 action:
🏟️ Total Transformation: Streets and parks across the country turned into massive open-air arenas. From sunrise stretches to sunset sprints, the whole nation was on the move!
✨ Royal Support: Sheikha Moza and Sheikha Mayassa were out in the crowd, cheering on participants and bringing some extra inspiration to the games.
